The next Chevrolet Aveo in the US will be model created in cooperation between GM's China operations and its South Korean GM-Daewoo unit. The company recently released an image of a dimunitive sedan, shown at the Shanghai auto show under the Chervrolet banner. According to the company, the new car will be built in China and Korea, and sold in Korea as the Daewoo Gentra. Daewoo designers collaborated with the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center, run by GM and China venture partner, Shanghai Auto. Expect to see lots more of these China-Korea projects at a GM dealer near you, wherever in the world you may be.
