More on the Lexus LF-Sh

Only around 5% of those who took our recent Tokyo concept poll picked the hybrid-drive Lexus LF-Sh as the most desirable near-production concept from the Tokyo show. Nonetheless, to Lexus, it's the model the company hopes will be in league with the top dog among long-wheelbase luxury cars in the US, the coming Mercedes-Benz S550. Word is Mercedes is working up a hybrid S-Class to match the upcoming Lexus LS600h, so maybe rivalry goes both ways. Of course, Lexus still hasn't confirmed a plan for its new flagship — though a press release indicated the concept provides strong styling clues to the next-generation Lexus flagship, LS430 — so for now we're just engaging in conjecture, kind of like we were big media.
