A development mule for the upcoming MINI crossover has again been spotted. The little-UV-that-could was caught outfitted in BMW's brown acid camouflage and true to the concept of a MINI SUV, playing in the snow.

The MINI Crossover, or Crossman, or 4x4, or Maxi, or Ute... whatever it'll eventually called is seen here resplendent in its hypocritical glory, clearly displaying a camouflaged five door design which will take the top spot as the least-mini MINI.

It'll be the first of the new MINI's to get a real set of four doors with a traditional hatch out back, all wheel drive and what may be interpreted as ground clearance. The crossover seems to be getting the development fast track after the MINI Crossover concept debuted only last fall at the Paris Motor Show.

When I heard of a paisley mini

My first thoughts turned to long legs in a skirt

Now that I see it's a car

I find that my feelings are hurt

Ben says it's a toy SUV

And that illation is backed up by Wert

I wonder if there's a market for such

or if BMW will lose their shirt

Still a Mini with four doors

looking all sporty and pert

may not be such a bad thing as long

as its Mini-esque essence it does not pervert
