We’ve been following Mercedes impressive and updated Gullwing for quite a while here at Autopia. Since Mercedes made it official, calling the reborn Gullwing the AMG-SLS, to the rumors of an electric version, to the stunning revelation that Mercedes will indeed be making one of the best EVs ever announced. But now comes word on official launch dates, and option pricing.

As Mercedes Benz says: The Gullwing is in the starting blocks

November 16th, that’s when you can start placing your orders, assuming you’ve got a checkbook that can handle a car like the Mercedes AMG-SLS. The Gullwing for the new century will have a sale price of 177,310 Euros or around 263,642 U.S. dollars at current exchange rates. Sadly, there’s no word yet from MB on pricing or availability on the EV version of the Gullwing.

“There is huge interest in our new super sports car and we are convinced that the SLS AMG will captivate our customers,” says Volker Mornhinweg, Chairman of the Management Board at Mercedes-AMG GmbH. Volker is probably right about that, and if you happen to be one of those interested, or just one that likes to browse, then you should check out Mercedes on-line configurator or swing by the Gullwing’s home site.
