Kawasaki has been teasing its Ninja H2 in the run-up to the Intermot motorcycle show in Germany later this month. Now we get to hear it, and there's no denying the supercharger whine accompanied by a fiendishly tell-tale chirp.

Right now, the smart money is on a blown version of Kawasaki's 750cc inline-four, a variant of the same mill fitted to the ZX-6R. The company is no stranger to turbines, with its Ultra 300X Jet Ski packing a supercharged and intercooler 1,498cc inline-four, and with the debut of its supercharged "concept" engine (above) at the Tokyo Motor Show last year, it's practically a given.
