Mister narrator, this is Bob Dylan to me! (We're trying to turn this into a meme. Please help.) Um, er, actually, it really is Bob Dylan, and he's playing narrator to a block of songs about cars on his XM radio show, Theme Time Radio Hour. Tracks include Parliament's "My Automobile" and Joni Mitchell's "Car on a Hill," (what? no Pinhead Gunpowder cover of "Big Yellow Taxi"?), and the erstwhile Mister Zimmerman will offer anecdotes, commentary and whatnot. We just hope he spins PJ Harvey's version of "Highway 61 Revisited," which might be the best Dylan cover recorded by anyone, ever. Well, that and Hendrix's "All Along the Watchtower," which cannot be fronted upon and should never have allowed itself to be played by Dave Matthews. Catch it on Channel 40 at 10pm tomorrow night.
