Japan's decorated big rigs rival Pakistan's caravan-like trucks and buses for attention to ornate detail. Drivers, and the custom builders who cater to their technocholored flights, employ buckets of chrome, acres of airbrushed muraling and more neon than a score of Amsterdam whorehouses to turn their haulers into Blade Runneresque circus wagons. The trucks are such a cultural institution in Japan that videogame developer, Spike has created a franchise of art truck—themed games for the Asian-spec Sony Playstation. We don't understand a single cuneform character of Japanese (except maybe the one with the hut underscored by a telephone pole, which, either means "bring it," or "crawl space"), but as near as we can figure, the art truck game may cause petit mal seizures in those with a weak threshold for exposure to the color spectrum.
