Just a note to those tempted to call or IM Jalopnik to order one of these V8-powered bikes. Don't bother. There's only one, and we had nothing to do with it. But in a similar vein as the US-built Boss Hoss V8-powered bikes, a UK-based engineer built an even madder eight-banging two wheeler. It's the Rapom V8, powered by an 8.2-liter V8 that's been topped with a roots-style blower. Running pure alcohol, the setup can produce well over 1,000 hp, which — as Visordown.com points out, is five times more than that of the world's fastest production bike, the Kawasaki ZZR-1400. [Thanks to Craig for the tip.]
