A million bucks definitely doesn't go as far as it once could, as any New Yorker who's paid seven-figures for an apartment with air-shaft views will testify. With cars, however, a million dollar bill can go a multitude of directions, from straight down the hole (a Plymouth Hemi Cuda convertible, or maybe a pair of Mercedes-Benz SLR McLarens) to a parking lot full of aging Alfas, Lincolns, Bimmers, Aston Martins, and Benzs, or maybe a vintage F1 racer or three.
How about it, folks? Where would your $1 million go? Send your shopping lists to tips@jalopnik.com. Feel free to estimate the prices based on experience, or — better yet — find one online and send us the link, which we'll include when we post the results next week, following our breathless coverage of the New York International Auto Show.
