How To Make A Honda Pop A Wheelie

With very few exceptions, Hondas are front-drivers, and front-drivers don't make the best wheelie cars. An exception in the Honda fleet being the late, departed S2000. Watch as this heavily-tuned unit managed a very un-Honda-like nose loft (helped by massive boost and drag slicks) at TX2K12 this past weekend.

Unlike the unlucky-lucky-lucky GT-R driver at the same strip, the S2K racer had the good sense to back out before things got totally out of hand — and he still finished with a 14.3 second quarter-mile time, or about what the stock car does flat-out.
