How Do You Make Your Commute Bearable?

Until we all live thirty feet away from our daily productivity pods, we'll have to suffer through some kind of commute, and in the US that means a couple of hours in a car a day. How do we stay sane?

I can never listen to music while I drive, so I turn every commute into a shower-like personal opera, belting out whatever tune pops into my head to get past the stifling buzz of wind and tires on the freeway. Sure I look like I'm insane to everyone else on the road, but I'm the one singing Funkadelic, not suffering through another morning of smooth soft jazz rock.
