When we were at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show and begged the higher ups to produce the Honda CB1100F, we never actually thought they would listen. Turns out the cries for a big standard did not fall on deaf ears as Hell For Leather is reporting the honchos at Honda will be putting the big bike on US show floors by 2009. A development like this only begs us to ask if production will be planned for the equally drool worthy Honda CB1100R. We're betting there will be a lot of penny collecting going on this year.

DISCUSSION

Classic UJM style has evolved over the years... As pretty as the CB1100F is, it is a relic.

I wish they would make a 600-650cc bike that would fit taller people. I think the Suzuki SV650 is a great standard, but a little cramped for me. And of course, the previous Yamaha FZ600 was good. I want a FZ6, even with its limitations. Unfortunately, the bike companies have been pathetic about selling standards in the US, and that pisses me off. I want a good handling motorcycle, with a less convoluted riding position.
