Despite the desperate amount of horseshit found in the press release for the Kia Telluride concept, which we called out for including smart sensors that detected its passengers’ vital signs and would change the tones of the lights in the roof to improve “energy levels,” for the person who misses mood rings but also has a family.
But underneath all of that witch doctoring was a decent looking full size SUV, which was recently posted to the saudi_shift Instagram page featuring a bunch of spy shots.
Where the concept seemingly took a lot of inspiration from the Volvo XC90, I can’t help but think this production version looks more like a GMC Yukon, save for the funky taillights. It still looks pretty cool.
The Telluride concept featured a 400 horsepower 3.5 liter V6 hybrid powertrain, and according to AutoGuide’s report on the expected production Telluride, it’s likely built on a stretched Hyundai Santa Fe platform. It will probably be officially revealed at the LA Auto Show in November.
