For just $750 a day, you can either go to jail or or die in a twin-turbo MKIV Toyota Supra with the power cranked all the way to eleven—hundred. Turo user Pernell decided to let anyone with internet and money rent this badass beast.

That sounds like a great idea.

Putting duel power-snails on a straight-six Supra isn’t a new thing; maniacs have been doing it for a while. This is notable because the owner thought it’d be great to have regular people have access to this amount of horsepower.

While I applaud Pernell for giving horsepower to the masses (or anyone with $750), all it takes is one fool with a lead foot to turn this Supra into a pile of formerly turbocharged dust.

Aside from the possibility of embedding the rental in a tree, I think more people should offer their ridiculous cars on Turo. Maybe start a stupid drag-car only Uber service so people can be driven around in Dad’s nitrous-injected Hemi ‘Cuda. More people need to use a race car to get groceries, is what I’m actually saying.

Do you have what it takes to rent this Supra?
