Between 6:15 and 7:00 this morning, a black GMC Syclone pickup and black GMC Typhoon SUV were stolen from 19th Ave & Pacific Ave in Venice, California. If you're in the area, keep your eyes open for these iconic sport trucks and let's rack up another rescue by the Jalopnik readers!
Owner Paul Squire is understandably devastated. Not only did the poor guy get two vehicles stolen, by the Typhoon was an heirloom passed down to the owner by his father. Getting your ride ripped off sucks regardless, but that has to add a lot of extra pain to the experience.
There's a thread going on the SyTy.net forum to start spreading the word, even going so far as to offer a $1,000 reward for the return of the vehicles. A post has been made on the local Venice neighborhood message board as well.
If anyone has any information that might help track these trucks down, "PJ" has requested to be contacted at 310-924-7112.
