Georg Plasa, Hill Climber, Dies During Italian Race

Georg Plasa, the 51-year-old German hill climber, died Thursday after the Judd V8-powered BMW 134 he was driving crashed during the Coppa Carotti in Italy.

Plasa was a fixture on European courses, and this video of him last month in Portugal shows why.
