The new Lexus IS is definitely the style leader of the Toyota division s line. Gone is the stretched-cone shape of the current IS the new one is angularly inclined in a manner that evokes Volvo s S40 (whoever thought those guys would be setting the design pace?). The problem, again, is the rear bumper, which protrudes like the bottom lip of a disingenuous ex-lover on moving-out day. Still, the IS 250 looks better in person than in the photos the washed-out silver appears to erase some of the pretty lines.
