Geneva Premiere: Alfa Romeo 159

Somewhat outshined by the launch of its two-doored sibling, the Brera, the Alfa Romeo 159 made a similar debut, to positive buzz (or was that the free espresso?). Nonetheless, the 159 is a pretty hot, if peturbed-looking, sedan, one we think could work nicely in the states alongside the BMW 3-Series and Audi A4.

Still, we re not optimistic Alfa could bring it in at the $30,000 pricing floor, especially at current exchange rates, without a plant in the US. Likely, Alfa s North American reentry will be in the $75,000-$90,000 range (maybe the 166 Executive Sedan?). Word is, that's in the cards.
