AdRants calls out Ford Motor for copying the premise of a VW ad in which a prospective buyer on a test drive keeps missing the off-ramp back to the dealership. In Ford's recent Focus ad, a prospective buyer on a test drive (ahem) keeps driving past the dealership. Personally, we'd rather Ford copy the Chevy pickup ad and drop a load of on it, at least until the company brings the European Focus to the US in 2007.
