Walt Kowalski, the grumpy, rifle-toting Korean War veteran played by Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino has a great line when he confronts some creeps who have been harassing his neighbor: "Ever notice how you come across somebody, once in a while, that you shouldn't have fucked with? That's me."

Boca Raton man Jason Espeland found himself in a similar situation earlier this week after he rammed a car in the middle of traffic and then became the recipient of a serious ass-kicking, according to this report from WPTV.

The TV station said that the unnamed victim ass-kicker was driving his Lincoln Navigator when he moved into the middle lane and cut off Espeland, who was driving a new Hyundai Accent. This pissed Espeland off so much rammed his Hyundai into the back of the Navigator "six or seven times at a stoplight," the report said.

Espeland tried to flee but the Navigator followed him to a parking lot. When the two men confronted each other, Espeland threw four punches before the victim decided to fight back, punching him twice and taking him to the ground.

"Espeland then curled into a fetal position, and appeared to [have] conceded his defeat," a police report said. But that wasn't the end of it — Espeland tried to run to his car, but the other driver followed him and threw an elbow into his face. Ouch!

According to Boca News Now, Espeland has been charged with aggravated assault and simple assault. This should be a good lesson to all you road rage-inclined people out there: don't start something you can't finish.
