Extreme Jeep Drifting Is Even Better Than Best Motoring

Welcome to Sunday Matinee, where we highlight classic car reviews or other longer videos I find on YouTube. Kick back and enjoy this blast from the past.

So for Sunday Matinee we usually put up something from 20 or 30 years back, but this one is just so fantastic there's no way we could past it up. This is EXTREME WORLD EXCITING MOVIE CAR CHANNEL. No, I'm not making that up.

I love everything about this video, including the awesome title music that seems like it came from an early-90s arcade fighting game. Then there's the fantastic translation service they used (I believe it's Google Translate), the completely stoic look of the driver, all that awesome dorifto action, and the fact that it's from the EXTREME WORLD EXCITING MOVIE CAR CHANNEL. The title of the video itself is "JEEP of drift specification appears!" It's all pretty Xxxtreme.

Then there's that car. From what I can gather, it's essentially a Nissan Silvia (aka the 240SX over here), with a Mitsubishi-licensed Willys Jeep body on top. The driver sits in the middle of the chassis, and the pedals all seemed to be placed willy-nilly. As the host says, Interested in this car I am.

Welp, I suppose that's it. I'm going to be spending the next week watching every single thing Japan has ever produced. Should only take a week, right?
