Ex-Nuclear Launch Officer Explains What's So Terrifying About Trump Having Nuke Codes

Ex-Jeb Bush national security advisor and #NeverTrump representative John Noonan is a former Minuteman III nuclear launch officer in the U.S. Air Force. When he says what's terrifying about Trump getting his hands on nuclear codes, he knows what he's talking about.

Noonan put out this tweetstorm on the subject following Trump-denied news that he had repeatedly asked "If we have them, why can't we use them?" during a foreign policy briefing. Noonan's words remain haunting:

I can't imagine the kind of stress you have when you're responsible for a nuclear launch, even in a stable presidency. How things will be over the next eight years with two hawks running for office at the moment, I do not know.
