Emotions in Motion: GM Takes its Show on the Road

Weirdly enough, for something that's obviously fairly pricey to produce, GM's AutoShow in Motion hasn't received a whole lot of press. In fact, we first heard about it from one of their product specialists while flying back from the NHRA Winternationals in February. Putting prospective buyers behind the wheel on various courses makes sense, as one often doesn't get to explore the true dynamic range of the car in traffic around the dealership. Still, we wonder if this is one of GM's good ideas that'll be left to wither and die for lack of promotion. Let's hope not. The three remaining events are in Boston, Denver and Washington, DC, coming up in May. [Thanks to Brendan for the suggestion.]

[UPDATE: Apparently GM only posts the occurance of the shows a month or two in advance, so keep an eye on the site. Also, the program has been running for three years or so. Thanks to Patrick for the clarifications.]
