Driving A Go-Kart On The Street Is Highly Illegal In Australia

Here we see a guy taking his go-kart on a busy street in Sydney. What's more ridiculous, that he's sharing the road with full-size cars, or that he's wanted by the police?

In their article "Police search for go-kart hoon," Nine News reports that a New South Wales police spokesman stated, "we need to remove that menace from the road." Network Ten News points out that he could face fines of $1,258 for being unregistered, $596 for being uninsured and $496 for being unlicensed. Dangerous driving could get the 'go-kart hoon' nine months in jail, as well.
