Drivers Distracted, UK Study Finds

In a survey conducted by a UK insurance firm, one in five drivers admitted to swerving out of lane while changing CDs or mucking about with dashboard dials. One in four said they had been distracted while changing a CD or tape, one in 10 while cleaning their windshield or adjusting the climate controls and 14% by adjusting music volume. Among activities drivers are less likely to mention are Texas hold-em (2%), preparing baked goods (1%) and autoerotic asphyxiation (0.01%).
