Connaught GT: Bespoke Luxury for the Conservationist Set

The Connaught V10 Type-D is a hybrid-drive, V10-powered (yes, a V10 hybrid) luxury car. While the car is a "mild" hybrid — meaning the electric motor component doesn't drive the wheels, it just supports the gas engine — it still clocks in at 42mpg on the combined cycle, with ultra low CO2 emissions. What's also cool is the company's cutting-edge corporate structure: It's a virtual automaker, focusing on design and project management and outsourcing manufacturing duties to its partner, EPM Technology. We hope the Big Three are listening.
