Commenter Of The Day: Zebulun Shall Dwell Edition
Presidents of the United States are typically sworn in on a Bible and most chose a specific verse to be sworn in on of some significance. For instance, Herbert Hoover chose Proverbs 29:18 which is "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." Makes sense. Bill Clinton, the second time, was sworn in on Isaiah 58:12: "Thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations, and thou shalt be called the repairer of the breach." A lofty goal, for sure. Obama, like President Bush before him, used a closed Bible. The best, though, is George Washington. They were running late and it was opened randomly to Genesis 49:13, which is: "Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for a haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon." Not inspirational, so much as weird. Despite our griping over the weird Hybrid Porsche 911 GT3 R, GREY-KK attempted an inspirational speech.
HOOOOOOLD IT! i think that Porsche might be on to something. at first, i shunned 'hybrid' technology. but then i did something different, i tried to understand it... give a chance. i learned that Honda raced their Insight years ago, and it did pretty dag on commendable, it would be awesome to see what they can do now. instead of turning our backs on this new technology, let's try to understand it, see what it can do! c'mon, these electric motors are turning some serious torque and apparently, swapping batteries does something to the power. and there is still an actual motor in all cases! Jalopnik, let us come together, look this hybrid technology in the face and say, "We are going to hoon the hell out of you, one way or another.".

They may take our lives, but we may never take a hybrid Porsche. Good try, though.
