As far as snacks go, we've always liked the Pringle or, as they were kown originally: the "Pringle's Newfangled Potato Chips." The name changed after pressure from other food makers who said it wasn't actually a chip, so they had to change the name to "potato crisp" which then caused a problem in England where crisp means something different. All this trouble for a name, so the story goes, derived from the Cincinnati yellow pages. One of the reasons we like Pringles so much is the Mitch Hedberg joke about Pringles originally wanting to make tennis balls but, on the day the rubber was supposed to arrive, a bunch of potatoes did instead.
