It's hard to understate how many influential recordings were made by Blue Note Records and how many important artists ended up recording under them at some point in their career. Thelonious Monk was a featured artist and produced the best of his work for them. Even artists not on the label managed to record some of their most important work for Blue Note, like John Coltrane's Blue Train. If you're unfamiliar with the works I recommend picking up Madlib's "Shades of Blue" — a tour through the archives from the perspective of a DJ. You'd think a modern hip hop DJ would destroy what's there but there's a respect there, a respect iDriveAVan doesn't have for cars in today's QOTD.
physically molested a McLaren F1 a couple years ago at a display of Ralph Lauren's car collection....I was sternly told to leave.
You are a sick, sick man.
