Come Hang With Us At Jalopnik's Austin F1 Party On Friday, Oct. 31!

This weekend, the greatest show in all of motorsports is making its way back to America's most kickass state. Jalopnik will be at Formula One, and you might be, too. That's why you should come party with us at the Hi Hat Public House on Friday.

This is the same East Sixth Street bar where we had our meetup last year, and it went great. I expect this one will be even bigger and even crazier because it's Halloween.

Where is it? The Hi Hat, 2121 East Sixth Street, Austin, Texas 78702. Don't worry, this is East Side Sixth Street (aka Hipster East Sixth) not Dirty Sixth, so you may even find parking, although if you're drinking we encourage you to find alternate means of transit.

What time? The festivities start at 7:30 p.m. and go until they kick us out.

Who will be there? All kinds of exciting people, like, uh, me, and Lemons racer extraordinaire/Black Flag scribe Stef Schrader! Plus many other friends of Jalopnik. And most importantly, you, our fellow gearheads, and any friends you might want to drag along!

It's Halloween! I have other plans! It's okay! If you can, stop by on your way to other things. We expect lots of people will come and go all night.

Can I wear a costume? Sure, costumes are encouraged. Here are some to get you started. I might even dress as Juan Manuel Fangio.

What does a Fangio costume look like? I haven't figured it out yet. I need to stop by Party City later and see if they have one.
