Forget the Segway, the X-Hawk vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) craft is the vehicle urban planners should design cities around. Created by an Israeli aeronautics engineer and pilot, the X-Hawk can operate in urban environments just like a helicopter, only without the whole accidentally chopping things in half issue. Some applications for the X-Hawk could include rescue operations, law enforcement, and deliving cold medicine and DVDs to residents in upper-floor apartments.
