Chinese Automaker Builds Picture Perfect Copy Of Ford F-150 Pickup

Despite some advances in design, the intransigence of China's copyright enforcers means the country's car companies still ripoff popular designs with glee. The new JAC 4R3 pickup is obviously a copy of the American Ford F-150, but it's not a bad one.

Though not precisely to scale, the new JAC truck looks somewhat like a Ford F-150 Raptor crew cab, with a vaguely Dodge Ram-esque greenhouse. There's no info on whether this is a 2x4 or 4x4 pickup, but they'll sell a ton of them in China, South America, and Africa either way.

Don't worry Ford, it's the sincerest form of flattery. At least they're no longer copying Chevy trucks, right?
