'Car Talk' Brothers To Retire This September
The Brothers Magliozzi, known to most of us as Click and Clack from NPR's popular "Car Talk" mechanic show, will stop recording live episodes of the program in September after 25 years on the air.
"Car Talk" will continue on NPR using their massive archives, but Tom and Ray will no longer being doing the live show. How long they continue to do this without anyone noticing that no one drives any cars newer than a 2012 Chevy Malibu remains to be seen.
"My brother has always said, 'Don't be afraid of work. Make work afraid of you.' And he's done it. Work has successfully avoided him all his life," says Ray.
All requests for comments should be directed to their legal counsel at Dewey, Cheatem & Howe.
