Cadillac ATS-V Smacks Down The BMW M3 With This Awesome Lease Deal

Cadillac is going to have a hell of a time catching up to BMW, the automaker that currently holds the top spot in luxury car sales. However, with General Motors’ recent lease offer on the 464 horsepower Cadillac ATS-V, you could blitz past an M3 for about the same payment as a BMW 340i sedan.

If you are like me and spend way too much time configuring cars on various automaker websites, you may have come across this special offer from Cadillac on a 2016 ATS-V sedan.

So $559 a month with $4,649 out of pocket (before taxes and fees) is still a bit too much for my budget, but if you are in the market for a high-performance compact luxury sedan the value here is incredible when compared to what BMW is offering.

For $10 less per month and only $4,474 due at signing, you can have the 340i sedan with M-sport package and a bunch of other goodies. While the 340i is plenty quick, it’s not even in the same league as the ATS-V.

In case you need a reminder how badass the ATS-V is, it will hit 60 mph in 3.8 seconds, achieve a top speed of 189 mph and slaughter apexes with magnetic ride dampers, Brembo brakes, and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

Of course, it’s important to remember that this advertised lease special, like many others, is before you start adding on additional options. Once you tick off boxes like the $6,195 Track Package and $2,300 Recaro seats, the price starts to climb rapidly.

Even if you decide to load up your ATS-V to the max, the lease payments would most likely still be lighter than a fully optioned M3. Luxury car sales are won and lost in leasing. While Cadillac has a lot of ground to cover in that game, at least they are keeping the enthusiasts happy this holiday season.
