Button Will Break His Duck, Says Mansell

What's the deal with the British? When will they learn to speak proper English? Can't the headline just explain that Jenson Button will finally win his first race instead of talking about waterfowl? Anyway, Nigel Mansell, fourth place on the all-time Formula One wins chart and the only man to win hold both the F1 and CART World Championships at the same time, thinks good ol' Jens is on the verge of standing on top of the podium. Hasn't Mansell been watching the last three seasons of F1? Jenson's fast, but...

...he hasn't really shown any race-winning form. If he can actually make it through an F1 race without taking several naps, we envy him. But you'll notice as the race goes on Jenson tends to fight his way backwards rather than forwards through the field. Granted, he's not driving a really fast car like a Renault, McLaren, or Ferrari, but his car has been good enough to put him on pole three times. All told since 2004, Jenson has finished equal or better than his qualifying position 13 times out of the 34 races he started. On average, he drops a third of a grid position, and that's when he actually finishes the race. That's not bad, but it's not exactly "future world champion" material.
