Bridge of Weir, Scotland, 17 October 2013 – Bridge of Weir Leather Company, a sponsor of the Scottish Car of the Year (SCOTY) awards, congratulates the 2013 winners on their accolades from the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers.

A number of SCOTY 2013 award winners specify Bridge of Weir leather, including Ford, Jaguar and Land Rover. Ford won the Innovation trophy for its MyKey technology, Jaguar’s F-TYPE was named Sporting Car of the Year and Land Rover came away with two awards, one for Range Rover, which was named Luxury Car of the Year, and for the Range Rover Sport which was awarded the SUV trophy. The overall Scottish Car of the Year trophy went to the Volkswagen Golf.
