After the decidedly negative response to the decidedly hideous EXP 9 F concept at last week's Geneva Motor Show, we couldn't be less surprised to hear Bentley is reconsidering the design of the poorly received concept SUV.
According to British automotive buyer's guide Whatcar? a Bentley source at the Geneva Motor Show called the EXP 9 Fs design "a little heavy handed" and revealed a redesign is already in the works. When the hopefully less ugly redesign appears we can expect "more traditional SUV proportions and less retro surfacing"
Even so it appears the round headlight and foglamp configuration is here to stay, although "the headlights will be slightly smaller and set farther inward". Bentley boss Wolfgang Durheimer also told Whatcar? we can expect a production version of the EXP 9 F in 2015. We hope for the sake of drivers everywhere the EXP SUV concept will be significantly better looking by then.
