Crain blames the problem on not enough brand differentiation, which despite the changes the automaker's made, is still clearly an issue. Interestingly enough, they've decided to tackle it by re-targeting their ad dollars, rather than culling uselessly redundant models like the Torrent. Yeah guys, that's really gonna fix things.
