Auto Engineers In The '70s Used This Crazy-Ass Contraption To Collect Data

Long before the days of wireless data transfer, engineers hacked this lead-follow tether system, seen collecting data from a Mk2 Escort tester. The Cortina station wagon following behind contained all the bulky recording equipment and plenty of human nerdage.
