In all honesty... why does this look stupid? I see a lot of comments saying this looks stupid... the whole article is about how it looks stupid. It looks like a tailored black jumpsuit? I mean, jumpsuits are in. I know people who just wear jumpsuits out and get tons of compliments (guys and girls, though mostly Read more

You know how when you’re a kid you have a favorite piece of clothing or shoes that you wear all the time, and people indulge you even if you look absurd? The Roadcrafter is that - except it actually is a super suit unlike your favorite *blankie-cape. Read more

your timing with this article is perfect..

Or don’t buy a car. In LA, commuting by motorcycle means that you can extend the distance between your apartment and office by about two-fold and still have the same commuting time. No need for a tiny shitty apartment close to work, so save on rent. For me, Los Feliz to Downtown in twenty minutes in rush hour.

It’s expensive and everyone looks stupid in them...but unless you only track your bike (and therefor have racing leathers), if you have a motorcycle you should have one. Like, aggressively cut back your spending elsewhere and save up; it’s that crucial. Arguably up there with owning a helmet IMO. Read more

I bought one about 6 or 7 years ago. At first the price hurt but it quickly replaced all my other riding gear. I do have a mesh jacket and pants that I use infrequently on slow rides in the woods. I saved for about 6 months to get one. I did a ton of research and it was just so clear. It’s expensive, but it’s so nice that whether it’s business wear throughout the year (suit), or casual wear during the summer, I use it on my daily commute. Do you have any experience with their gloves? That’s my next piece of Read more

Awning are the best. However I will say that its easy to forget that you have to be by your car to use them, which comes in handy less than you think when you buy them. For the money, an easy up awning like you see tailgating is the better option, but if you plan on being remote its killer to have.

You and Wes Siler have to stop posting think kind of stuff. I keep telling myself don’t modify our new Outback, then y’all post this shit. I don’t need to be more broke. Read more

Awnings rock. CVT, ARB, Fiamma.... lots of brands out there. Foxwing. Read more

Nice. It’ll be interesting to see how the CVT holds up over time. Read more

I think this is less of a build something subaru couldn’t out of the outback as much as something subaru won’t. I’m guessing at this point they don’t see a big enough market for this to justify spending the money on it. Read more

The Expanded Polystyrene (EPS, aka Stryofoam) loses it’s crush resistance over time due to ozone exposure. If the EPS is too “soft” it doesn’t decelerate your noggin enough before it hits the helmet shell & then someone else has to wipe your ass for the rest of your life. Read more
