So it’s just a shorter Pilot without the tailgate-mounted part the rear taillight...

Is this the first good looking (not just exciting looking) Ferrari since the 90s? Hopefully it trickles down.

If you can do without the badge, I feel like a Golf R is a great choice. And they added all those colors for 2019.

I think Cayenne Turbo can probably be considered the first of the ludicrous “supercar” SUVs, but X5 still beat it to “sporty” in 1999.

The Cayenne is hardly the first luxury SUV. Mercedes, BMW, Lexus/Acura, (arguably) Volvo, all beat them to it.

I would be lying if I said I haven’t occasionally searched for one. Have NEVER seen one for sale though.

Grew up in a 1989 MPV with a floor-mounted manual transmission that was probably taller than I was at the time. Knowing now that it was RWD makes it even cooler.

Not arguing against that. What I’m saying is, why put that increased funding on the back of some slightly wealthier people who drive (for myriad reasons) instead of just taxing unoccupied $1-million+ apartments and solving our housing crisis at the same time? I’d rather tax the super-rich who buy a penthouse for their Read more

Thank god we have finally given up on taxing the rich here, and instead will institute a regressive tax that makes life more difficult for poor/middle class people and will have no effect on the superrich that are also causing our housing crisis. It’s as American as apple pie.

I am now beginning to think that it was everyone of a certain age’s sexual awakening? Because I think I was in 3rd grade and like....yes, also me.

I feel like a discounted new (if those exist) or a barely used ATS-V would be a great alternative. I know it’s not a V8, but I don’t think anyone will be wanting for power...

I was recently on 287 after the Tappan Zee at night and reflective material on the signs is so faded that you actually can’t read them at all. It’s incredible we’re OK with this.

1st Gen Nissan Rogue. I hate it so much. It just seems like no one working on it was even trying. It’s a mediocre car designed by a mediocre committee.

OK wait so you are arguing they SHOULD call it an E200t/h or whatever. That I can get behind. I thought you were saying they are actually doing that. Because currently E300 is a 2.0T I4.

So Mercedes is allowed to keep 350 because they’ve made a lot of progress downsizing their engines, but a T6 MUST REMAIN a 6 cylinder? I get that a 350 would’ve been a 3.5 liter in the past...but it’s not anymore. Just like T6/T5. Read more

Yes, I understand that. And like I said, not a big fan. But adopting a new convention 0f power levels, rather than having 8 different T4s, is fine with me. At least there is some rhyme/reason to it rather than just “it used to be a 350 so it’s still a 350"

Don’t disagree (I hate fake names), but the Volvo numbers are actually correlated to power level. 8=about 400hp, 6=about 300, 5=about 250, 4=about 200, etc.

Volvo lost the plot...the plot being safety messaging? But several of the great ads referenced are the 740 Turbo ads, which don’t mention safety at all? Read more
