The paint color is actually amazing, but it hasn’t been sunny here to get a good picture. Basically, it’s exactly what you said. It’s yellow in direct light and otherwise grey.

Apparently owners told BMW that the car wasn’t visually distinctive enough. I don’t think the grille looks good, but I get it from a marketing perspective. It looks extremely BMW and also conveys that you have the Big Boi Bimmer, helpful since the 2019 one was so visually similar to a 5 Series. Read more
