Erin's spent her entire life in the city of Detroit, soaking in car culture since before she could walk. She has over 10 years of experience in writing and editing automotive news stories, long-form features, and car reviews. She earned a degree in journalism from the University Of Michigan-Dearborn, where she served as features editor for the student paper and worked weekends at the local public radio station. She was hired straight out of school to build websites for General Motors. She quickly climbed the ranks to customer retention management before returning to her first love, journalism, with a job at AOL Autos/Autoblog. She's served Jalopnik's loyal readers as an editor for the last eight years.
