An additional recommendation if you find yourself in Ypsilanti: Motorsport Studio is an art gallery/ race shop in downtown Ypsi (around the corner from the hobby cave) that carries some amazing prints at really reasonable prices. They also sell some awesome shirts if you don't have the cash on hand for something

Green Dot Stables is a great hipster joint almost under the ambassador bridge. $2-$3-$4 gourmet sliders (try the Korean, a burger with Kimchee and peanut butter on it)

Fly Trap in Ferndale has good food for reasonable prices, and is especially great for breakfast. And Green Dot Stables is everyone's favorite place for sliders because they do sliders better than anyone. Read more
