AutoWeek's reporting Jeep insiders are still considering a production version of last year's Gladiator concept, a pickup that's twice as tough (looking) as anything the company is building at the moment. Chrysler VP Frank Klegon, said the Gladiator is built on the existing 2007 Wrangler platform, making the likelihood it will be produced greater than if it were a complete one-off. It'd also be a way to counteract some of the bad juju spread by its new non-Trail-Rated Compass.
