What's it like to write, direct and star in your own car chase movie? What's it like to do so using your personal 650 HP Lincoln and 700 HP Baja buggy alongside Kristen Bell? The guy who does all that in Hit and Run, Dax Shepard, is live for the next hour in Kinja, answering your questions about anything.
A product of Detroit, Dax's first job was delivering press cars to car journalists. In 2006, the actor appeared in both Mike Judge's cult hit Idiocracy (as the appealingly named Frito Pendejo) and Employee of the Month, where he met his one true love: Costco.
He's also appeared alongside Will Arnett in Let's Go To Prison and with Amy Poehler and Tina Fey in Baby Mama. Now, he's a cast member on NBC's Parenthood; he had the show switch his character's bike from a purple Harley to a Ducati cafe racer so he could ride a something he'd actually enjoy.
Most importantly, though, is that Dax is a serious gear head. That Continental hot rod is his daily driver, the Tatum is his weekend toy and he tracks a Suzuki GSX-R1000 and rides a Ducati Hypermotard around LA.
Hit and Run premiers on August 22nd and you can ask Dax anything you want from 2:00 to 3:00 PM EST today in Kinja below.
Big thanks to Dax Shepard for answering our questions. He is, by far, our favorite Parenthood cast member... who wasn't formerly on Coach. Go see his movie.
