Corvette Racing gave us the most insane race finish when they told their No. 3 and No. 4 cars to have at it at the end of the Rolex 24 at Daytona. We’ve got the driver who finished just a nose ahead of his own teammate here to answer your questions. Ask Oliver Gavin anything you want—on racing or otherwise. Go!
Gavin may have made headlines recently for the balls-out dicing with teammate Antonio Garcia at the end of this year’s Rolex 24, but he’s no stranger to race wins. He was on Corvette Racing’s winning 24 Hours of Le Mans team last year as well, with all the pressure on their lone remaining entry after his team’s sister car crashed out in qualifying.
On top of that, Gavin’s kind of used to winning, and seems to like the number five: five American Le Mans Series championships, five 24 Hours of Le Mans class wins, five 12 Hours of Sebring class wins, and five Petit Le Mans class wins.
Gavin’s cool enough to show up and answer our questions, so we hope a few of those fives become sixes, sevens or more. What would you like to know about winning races, driving the best Corvette in the world, or, well, anything Gavin does? Ask away in the comments below!
