An Aston Martin Can Be A Regular Car When It's Owned By A Regular Dude

Mr. Regular starts off by saying the car starring in their latest review, a 2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster, is not a regular car. I think he's wrong, though, and I think you will too when you hear about its owner.

Matt Farah once said that an Aston Martin is the exotic car you buy when you earned your money the hard way, by working for it. It's the high-end car for the self-made man or woman, the car for people who are into the quiet kind of cool.

The car in this video lives in Toledo and it's owned by a dude who left school, started a technology business, made it profitable within a few years, and then bought his Aston for cash. And he autocrosses it, too, along with all the Miatas and Ford Probes. Sounds pretty regular to me.

It's a fun video, and there's a surprise mention of the Baja Bug and not one but two extended toilet conversations with Autoweek's Blake Rong about the merits of driving a flashy, expensive car. Stay til the end, it's fun.
