We went down to get coffee at the hotel this morning and who is there but multi-Le Mans winner, former F1 driver, and current Scotsman Allan McNish.
Most of what he said was a blur, but he advised that when you brake hard into T1 at Daytona, you want to brake so hard that you can start to feel the back of the car getting light.
That... that's when you really want to brake hard as you get into the turn.
He gave more advice, but my mind was mush.
