All Those Daytona 500 Crashes Even Took Out One Of Fox's Camera Drones
The Daytona 500 didn't go too well for quite a few racers yesterday and it also did not go well for Fox Sports' new tethered camera drone. During one of the many crashes a piece of debris smacked the drone right out of the sky.
.@FOXSports says that its tethered drone it debuted at yesterday's #Daytona500 was knocked out of the sky at one point during the race by a flying piece of debris from one of the wrecks.
- The drone was quickly replaced with a backup and sent back up.

We don't know specifically which crash disabled the drone but we will update this post if we hear back from Fox Sports. All we know is that we are going to be safe from a robot uprising if it ever happens during a NASCAR race.
